Having a couple of NOT GOOD experiences with other sitters, my husband and I stay close to home to take care of our three (precious) dogs, one of which has congestive heart failure. A neighbor one day mentioned Allison to me in passing the event we had such a need. A week later, a family emergency ensured and it was Allison to the rescue. We left town quickly with our sick baby in the ER on Backlick Road. Allison picked her up at night during a storm for us, picked up her medicine and the next day went back to have the pills cut by the hospital to make sure they were perfectly cut. She stayed with our babies several days and nights. They fell in love with her and could not have been in better hands. There was not a single accident, upset tummy or unhappy pooch in the house! AMAZING. She even got up at 5 am to provide meds. I received constant updates and pictures and the relief this provided was unmeasurable.

I have known Ms. Waldron for almost three years during which she has provided myriad dog care services to my four year old Shih Tzu, Bubbles. We hired Allison about a year ago to care for our pugs Chaz and Ollie while we spent a long summer weekend in Virginia Beach, VA. Both of our pugs are seniors and we are always very concerned about leaving them alone in the home and we want to ensure that they have the best care possible while we are gone. Allison was recommended to us by a good friend. When I first met Allison, I liked her right away because she had a calm demeanor and got right down to Ollie and Chaz’s level to greet them. They seemed very comfortable with her. She also listened to my concerns and was willing to work with me to meet all of their needs. Caring for senior dogs is not easy and it often requires medication and additional assistance. I have found Allison to be extremely reliable and trustworthy. She is also very accommodating and flexible with our schedule and she kept us informed about our pugs during our trip. It was really nice to receive text messages with photos and short videos of my dogs. Many of my neighbors have told us they saw Allison with Chaz and Ollie on walks around the neighborhood. During our beach trip, one of the pugs had a medical emergency and Allison promptly informed me via phone call and she took the dog to the veterinarian for treatment. I feel she truly cares about animals and is genuinely concerned about their well-being. We would highly recommend Allison as a pet sitter.

Allison is extraordinary and provided exceptional care for our golden retriever, Makena. Allison took the time to get acquainted with our family and treated Makena as if she were her own.
